Food Dale Vendor Policy

1. Introduction
This Vendor Policy establishes the terms and conditions for restaurants, grocery stores, and other merchants (“Vendors”) that partner with Food Dale to offer their products through the platform. By joining Food Dale, Vendors agree to comply with the guidelines and standards outlined in this policy.
2. Vendor Eligibility and Requirements
2.1 Business Registration & Compliance
- Vendors must be legally registered businesses with the appropriate licenses and permits required to sell food, beverages, or goods in their respective locations.
- Vendors must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
2.2 Food & Product Standards
- All food must be prepared, handled, and packaged in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Vendors must ensure that the quality of their products matches the descriptions, photos, and pricing listed on the Food Dale platform.
- Vendors are responsible for proper packaging to maintain food integrity and temperature during delivery.
2.3 Vendor Onboarding
- Vendors must complete the onboarding process, including providing menu details, pricing, hours of operation, and contact information.
- Any updates to the menu, pricing, or availability must be made through the Food Dale vendor portal.
3. Order Management & Fulfillment
3.1 Order Acceptance & Processing
- Vendors must accept or decline orders promptly through the Food Dale vendor portal.
- Orders should be prepared and ready for pickup within the estimated preparation time displayed on the platform.
- Vendors must communicate any delays or issues with order fulfillment through the Food Dale support system.
3.2 Order Accuracy
- Vendors are responsible for ensuring all orders are accurately prepared and match customer selections.
- Missing, incorrect, or poorly prepared items may result in customer refunds or vendor penalties.
3.3 Cancellations & Refunds
- Vendors must notify Food Dale immediately if an order cannot be fulfilled.
- Vendors are responsible for refunding customers when issues arise due to incorrect or missing items.
- Excessive cancellations or complaints may result in removal from the platform.
4. Pricing & Payments
4.1 Pricing Policy
- Vendors must maintain accurate and up-to-date pricing on the Food Dale platform.
- Prices listed on the app should match the in-store pricing unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
4.2 Commission & Fees
- Vendors agree to pay Food Dale a commission on each order processed through the platform. The commission rate is outlined in the vendor agreement.
- Additional service fees may apply for marketing, promotions, or platform enhancements.
4.3 Payment Processing
- Payments for completed orders will be processed on a [weekly/bi-weekly/monthly] basis via the payment method specified in the vendor account.
- Vendors must provide accurate banking details to ensure timely payments.
- Any payment disputes must be reported within [X] days for resolution.
5. Vendor Responsibilities
5.1 Customer Service
- Vendors must provide high-quality customer service and address customer concerns promptly.
- Any disputes related to food quality, order accuracy, or missing items must be resolved in collaboration with Food Dale support.
5.2 Food Safety & Hygiene
- Vendors must comply with all food safety regulations and ensure their premises and food handling practices meet industry standards.
- Any health code violations must be reported to Food Dale immediately, and failure to comply may result in suspension.
5.3 Branding & Marketing
- Vendors are encouraged to participate in promotions and marketing campaigns to boost sales.
- Any unauthorized use of Food Dale branding, logos, or marketing materials is prohibited without prior approval.
6. Platform Compliance & Termination
6.1 Platform Compliance
- Vendors must use the Food Dale platform responsibly and adhere to all platform policies.
- Fraudulent activities, such as inflating prices, manipulating orders, or creating fake transactions, are strictly prohibited.
6.2 Violation & Termination
- Food Dale reserves the right to suspend or terminate a vendor’s account for repeated policy violations, customer complaints, or non-compliance with food safety regulations.
- Vendors will receive notice and an opportunity to address issues before termination, except in cases of severe misconduct.
7. Amendments & Policy Updates
- Food Dale reserves the right to update this policy at any time.
- Vendors will be notified of significant changes via email or the vendor portal.
8. Acknowledgment
By signing up as a vendor on the Food Dale platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with this policy.
